Original Press Release:

Soorya Software, Inc., Releases FTM(TM) Software Version 3.0 for Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) with Scalable Architecture and 3 New Modules

Glendale, California, May 10, 2002 Soorya Software Inc. today announced the release of FTM(TM) Version 3.0 CMMS software. This release enhances core functionality to provide a scalable architecture and offers three new modules. The DTMF (touchtone) Module enables easy access to report breakdowns, notify maintenance and update equipment status. The Spares Usage & Control Module minimizes the use of consumables and spares, giving more control over critical and Class C/D type of spares while monitoring the lifetime of a spare on at its location. The Human Resource Utilization module identifies human resource bottlenecks and the effectiveness of a maintenance team or their requirements for training.

In 3.0 the pricing model has been revised to include users in small and medium-sized businesses. "Many small and mid-sized companies want CMMS, but have not found the solution to allow growth with their business. Initial costs have been too high. We are filling that void with a package starting at $3000. The second biggest customer request has been for less time consumed in accessing a system. With the new DTMF module it is as easy and quick as picking up the phone, dialing an extension and inputting information," according to Ken Dubay, Senior VP of Marketing.

As companies grow, FTM(TM) can scale upwards, expanding functionality by adding new modules. The starter package automates job request generation, maintains the centralized Job Register and schedules maintenance tasks. Modules can be added for tracking spares, analyzing machine failure frequency, documenting human resource use and maintaining a central database of all machines. System expansion is now accomplished on a limited budget without costly hardware and software upgrades.
