Sunlight-Readable, Cluster-Based LED Lamps from Dialight



Farmingdale, N.J., December 1, 2006 -- Dialight Corporation has introduced its
586 Series of sunlight-readable based LEDs, featuring a super-bright cluster design for high brightness and low current draw. With T 3¼ miniature bayonet bases, the new lights mount directly into industry-standard sockets for easy replacement of many popular miniature incandescent lamps (numbers 44, 47, 313, 755, 1815, 1819, 1847, 1850, 1866, 1889, 1891, 1892, 1893 and 1895).

Delivering up to 100,000 hours of service life and using 90% less energy than incandescent lamps with no generated heat, the 586 Series incorporates the latest AlInGaP and InGaN technologies. The new lamps are available in 6, 14 and 28 VDC, in both polarized and non-polarized configurations and a 120 VAC version. Colors include red, green, yellow, blue and white, with typical intensities ranging from 1 cd for non-polarized red to 4.8 cd for the polarized white.

Operating temperature is -30°C to +85°C; storage temperature is -40°C to
+100°C. Pricing begins at $7.32 in production quantities; delivery is
+six weeks ARO.
