Cloupia Showcases CloudGenie(TM), the Industry-First iPad Application for Data Center Orchestration at VMworld 2011

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Today, Cloupia announced that it will showcase the CloudGenie, the first-ever iPad application for data center orchestration at booth #401 in VMworld 2011, Las Vegas. Cloupia will also demonstrate data center orchestration and management solutions. Cloupia will unveil CloudGenie(TM), a tablet-based data center orchestration application to manage and provision physical and virtual infrastructure. Targeting Apple IOS devices (iPad) initially, this app demonstrates ease of deployment and management for workloads running on cloud infrastructure. Demonstrations will include:

storage (LUNs and volumes), and advanced network provisioning to support
both physical and virtual workloads.
- The ability to install and implement an integrated out-of-box solution
to enable resource deployments, monitoring/analytics and management
within a few hours, helping alleviate the need for multiple tools,
disparate bolt-on technologies, and professional services.
- Management and real-time monitoring from a single pane of glass across
all infrastructure components - compute, storage, network &
virtualization.
- Integrated cloud automation capabilities that include end-user
self-service portal, design and deploy component-level service catalog,
and chargeback management that avoids additional tools to transform
converged infrastructure to clouds.
