Magid Glove Ignites its NEW Protective Clothing Line-ARC Resistant Clothing
(July 27, 2006) -- Chicago, IL -- Magid Glove & Safety is proud to introduce its new A.R.C. (TM) (Arc Resistant Clothing) Line. This clothing line is ideal for work environments that require protection for workers against arc flash that may lead to burns and severe injuries. Magid A.R.C. garments are available in 100% cotton or 88% cotton/ 12% nylon; both are chemically treated to resist high temperature and degradation from industrial chemicals and solvents. These garments are compliant to NFPA 70E-2004 Hazard Risk Category 2 (NFPA 70E-HRC 2), ASTM F1506-02A, and ASTM F1959/F1959-99.
To provide the necessary protection for all work environments, Magid Glove & Safety also offers a variety of shirts, pants, coveralls, and jackets. The 88% cotton/ 12% nylon fabric makes the clothing more durable while providing additional comfort and ease in movement for the end user. Shirts have button closures in the front and two chest pockets with button closures, in sizes S-3XL and colors navy and khaki. Matching pants are available in navy and khaki and waist sizes 30"- 50". The 100% cotton coveralls, jackets, and pants provide all the protection with better breathability for longer wear duration.
