Ultra Low Voltage Clock Oscillator at 1.6 V Low Current Clock Oscillator at 3.0 mA
Raltron's newly launched ultra low voltage and low current HCMOS clock oscillators provide the design engineer a perfect answer for the ever increasing demand for a longer operating life of battery powered consumer products, portable equipment, and instrumentation.
Ideally suited for low voltage and power conscientious products, such as computers, radios, portable medical equipment, or any product where a long sustainable battery life is of a prime consideration, these new Raltron Clocks will provide those basic needs.
The Ultra Low Voltage 5X7 HCMOS Clock is available at 1.6V and 20mA with a frequency range of 30 to 70 MHz. The Low Current 5X7 HCMOS Clock features a supply current as low as 3.0mA at 2.7 V or 3.3 V with an upper rating of 4.6mA at 5 V. Frequency range is from 4.0 to 30 MHz. Both clocks offer a low jitter specification of 1.0 ps RMS.
Both the Ultra Low Voltage and the Low Current units are designated as Series CS with additional letter designations to delineate voltage or current ratings. Both units have optional temperature ranges starting from 0 to +50 deg C to the widest of -20 to +80C. Standard frequency stability is ±50 PPM, however tighter tolerances are available. Both series come in a 5 x 7 mm package with a low profile height of 2.0mm Max.
Packaging is on tape and reel with delivery currently quoted at 4 - 6 weeks ARO, with sample request given priority. Budgetary pricing for large volume production starts at $0.90.
