M-tron Introduces Low Jitter 3.3 Volt Clock Oscillators and VCXOs up to 800 MHz
YANKTON, SD - M-tron Industries, Inc. has announced the immediate availability of a family of new low jitter 3.3 volt clock oscillators and VCXOs with frequency capabilities up to 800 MHz. The complementary output characteristics of these oscillators provide superior common-mode noise rejection, making them ideal for Optical Carrier and Gigabit Ethernet applications.
The M5RJ series oscillator is available with LVPECL or LVDS output in a 9 x 14 mm J-lead ceramic package. The MPV3J series VCXO is also available with LVPECL or LVDS output in a 9 x 14 mm J-lead ceramic package. Both devices are offered in frequencies up to 800 MHz, and have maximum integrated jitter as low as
0.5 ps RMS (12 kHz to 20 MHz) at frequencies over 600 MHz.
According to Dick Thompson, VP of Sales and Marketing, "The rapid growth of data communications has lead system designers to seek out higher speed network technologies. These higher capacity systems are more susceptible to degradation due to noise. M-tron's new oscillators offer a great combination of low noise and good thermal stability (to + 20ppm from -40 to 85C).
Pricing for the M5RJ and MPV3J series at frequencies of 622.08 MHz start at $45.43 in high volume quantities. Delivery is stock to 3 weeks.
