ClickSoftware Announces That SoCalGas and SDG&E to Optimize Mobile Workforce Management with ClickSoftware ServiceOptimization Suite
Southern California Utilities to Implement New Solution for Improved Planning, Scheduling and Dispatching of Field Crews
BURLINGTON, Massachusetts, November 8 -- ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd., (NasdaqCM: CKSW) the leading provider of mobile workforce management and service optimization solutions, today announced that California-based Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) have purchased ClickSoftware's ServiceOptimization Suite to improve work forecasting, resource planning, and scheduling of natural gas and electric transmission and distribution field work crews.
SoCalGas and SDG&E will deploy ClickSoftware's suite of applications, including ClickForecast, ClickPlan, ClickSchedule and ClickAnalyze, to provide greater visibility and alignment of forecasted work and resource capacity. The system implementation is planned for short- and long-cycle work. SoCalGas and SDG&E expect to roll-out the new functionality beginning the second half of 2008 with phased deployment. The software upgrades help support the utilities' vision for continuing operational excellence.
