ClearOne Now Shipping CHATAttach 160 Group Speakerphone System for Business Communications Via Skype

Connect Multiple CHATAttach 160 Units to Cover Medium to Large Conference Rooms

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 30, 2010 - ClearOne® (http://www.clearone.com) (Nasdaq: CLRO), a global communications and entertainment solutions company, today announced that the much anticipated CHATAttach(TM) 160, the hands-free group speakerphone system for larger groups using Skype(TM), is now available. Video and audio calls with many participants per location can now more easily use Skype through the CHATAttach 160's ability to cover medium to large conference rooms by connecting multiple units together. The CHATAttach 160 is part of ClearOne's growing family of award-winning and market-leading audio conferencing products for the enterprise.

The CHATAttach 160 greatly enhances collaboration in offices, conference rooms or anywhere Skype is used in a business setting. With true plug-and-play integration with Skype, the CHATAttach 160 requires no driver installation; users plug it in and all incoming calls ring into the CHATAttach 160. The even distribution of microphones and loudspeakers provided by the CHATAttach 160 system, as well as distributed access to mute and volume controls through each pod, provides the ultimate ease-of-use for larger group conferencing venues.

The CHATAttach 160 consists of two stylish CHAT® 160 pods, two USB cables, a power adapter, quick start guide, and the CHATAttach Expansion Kit, which includes a 10-foot Attach cable that connects the two CHAT 160 pods together. Each CHAT 160 pod can also be used separately when a 'daisy chain' configuration is not needed, making the system extraordinarily versatile. The system connects to laptops or PCs via USB for easy, hands-free audio communication using Skype or other conferencing software.

Each CHAT 160 pod contains three microphones for 360-degree coverage and incorporates HDConference®, ClearOne's suite of audio technologies which specifically address audio conferencing challenges such as echo, ambient noise, fidelity, level control and microphone priority. The result is a group speakerphone system with crystal-clear audio for fatigue free audio and video communication.

"This is a versatile system that delivers crystal clear, natural, and fatigue free sound for any business or enterprise," said Darrin Thurston, Vice President of Product Management, Conferencing & Collaboration for ClearOne. "Now individuals can finally use Skype to communicate with a conference room full of people without concern about the poor or inadequate audio conditions that typically plague medium and large conference rooms. The CHATAttach 160 frees groups of co-workers from having to 'huddle-up' during a conference call or video chat and makes it more comfortable for six to ten people in a large room to use a laptop or PC to conduct voice and video conference calls."

The CHATAttach 160 has an MSRP of $849.99 and is available for purchase. Contact ClearOne Sales at 800-707-6994 for more information.
