Cleaning Validation Swabs
TX714K, Large Alpha® Sampling Swab, previously only available in the TOC Cleaning Validation Kits (TX3340 and TX3342), is an AlphaLite® double-knit, double-layered polyester swab that has been cleaned and certified to <50µg/L TOC.
TX761K, Alpha® Sampling Swab with Long Handle, is also an AlphaLite double-knit, double-layered polyester swab certified to <50ìg/L TOC. The unique design has an extended reach flexible handle with a smaller paddle shaped head used in validating equipment areas that are narrow and difficult to reach.
TX716, Absorbond® Sampling Swab, is made with a hydroentangled continuous filament 100% polyester nonwoven fabric. This extremely clean material makes this swab an ideal choice in HPLC, IMS and similar specific testing processes where surfactant interference cannot be tolerated.
Also available is TX715, Alpha® Sampling Swab. This is an AlphaLite double-knit, double-layered polyester swab that has been cleaned to remove residual surfactants from the swab head. This is a good alternative choice to TX716 in HPLC, IMS and UV-Vis specific analyses. Both the TX716 and TX715 give best performance when using organic diluents.
TX714K will continue to be available in the TOC Cleaning Validation Kits in addition to being available separately.
