Break-Free® Introduces Five New Lubrication, Cleaning and Protection Products
Jacksonville, FL - November 15, 2003 - Today's equipment is more sophisticated and environmental regulations are more demanding, which is why Break-Free® introduces five new products that clean, degrease, lubricate, protect and prevent corrosion in the most demanding of industrial environments. Each product has been carefully designed to meet the specific maintenance, repair and operational needs of industry. The five new products are: Cold Galvanize 99%, White Lithium Grease, Silicone, Degreaser & Motor Cleaner, and Contact Cleaner.
Cold Galvanize 99%, available in a 13oz. aerosol can, provides superior, long-term protection against rust and corrosion on ferrous bar metal and previously galvanized surfaces. It contains 99% pure zinc metal. Its galvanic action is equal to hot-dip galvanizing. Cold Galvanize 99% bonds easily to metal and works by acting as a sacrificial layer - so the zinc oxidizes instead of the metal. It can be used as a touch-up or primer for marred or scratched hot-dip galvanized surfaces, be painted over or used as a final protective coating.
White Lithium Grease, available in a 12oz. aerosol can, is a multi-purpose, all-weather, penetrating lubricant with a wide range of industrial applications. It is a thick, water-resistant grease that contains rust and oxidation inhibitors to protect metal. It is temperature stable to withstand high and low temperature extremes. White Lithium Grease reduces friction between surfaces of like or different materials and adheres better than oil. It stops squeaks and helps relieve mechanical sticking and friction problems. It has a white color that permits easy visual inspection - allowing for the quick identification of treated areas.
Extreme Duty Silicone, available in a 10oz. aerosol can, helps to eliminate sticking, binding, and squeaking. It is colorless and odorless and features excellent lubricity. It is non-staining and safe for most surfaces. Silicone lubricates metal, wood, rubber, glass, chrome and plastic. It has continuing operating temperature of up to 400 degrees F and provides excellent lubrication for locks, hinges, rubber gaskets, battery terminal, ignition systems and rubber weather stripping.
Heavy Duty Degreaser & Motor Cleaner, available in an 18oz. aerosol can, is a premium quality product for cleaning electrical components and motors. It is a fast-acting, deep penetrating formulation that provides for the efficient operation of electrical equipment. It can be applied while the motor is running. Heavy Duty Degreaser & Motor Cleaner does not leave a residue and no rinsing or wiping is required. It is an ideal cleaner for fans, relays, motors, switches, terminals, generators, typewriters, transformers, circuit breakers, ignition systems and most electrical equipment.
Electric Grade Contact Cleaner, available in a 16oz. aerosol can, cleans and degreases delicate mechanisms and removes light grease, dirt, oils and other contaminants. It penetrates into the tightest areas and evaporates quickly without leaving a residue. Contact Cleaner is non-conductive, does not require rinsing and is safe on most surfaces. It is a top quality cleaner for relays, brushes, switches, electrical parts and electrical contacts.
