Fairlawn, NJ, March 24, 2003 - CoroTurn RC, the rigid and user-friendly clamping system from Sandvik Coromant, has been significantly extended to help maximize accessibility and stability. The update includes shank tools, Coromant Capto modular tooling, and tools for multi-task machining.
New Coromant Capto cutting units designed to work at 45 degrees utilizing the B-axis in modern multi-task machines and new CoroTurn RC 570 cutting heads to be used with solid and damped boring bars for internal machining help achieve high performance in all turning operations.
