Clamping Module NSE 196 - With Extremely High Holding Forces

SCHUNK Inc. introduces a new clamping module to complement the extensive module offering of the SCHUNK UNILOCK Quick-Change Pallet system. This NSE module is 196 mm in diameter to accommodate applications that require a larger contact surface. The NSE 196 is mechanically clamped and pneumatically opened, this allows the clamped system to be moved in the clamped state without interference from air lines.

The clamping pin that complements this NSE 196 module and the NSE 196 have a Æ 61 mm through hole, which makes it possible for the workpiece to protrude through the clamping system. This is especially applicable to quickchange lathe chucks where the bar stock can now be pushed through the clamping module and clamping pin. The newly designed clamping pin guarantees a holding force of the system of up to 75,000 N. For an easier orientation of fixture plates, the clamping module also comes standard with a 12 mm precision bore on the face.

SCHUNK UNLOCK offers the operator a safe and secure clamping solution combined with unsurpassed clamping force and short set-up times guaranteeing a reduction in operation costs.
