Sterling Heights, Mich., - COE Press Equipment has announced the availability of its new Clam Shell Straightener with a design that allows the top rollers to rise up and separate from the bottom rollers to provide access for easy inspection and cleaning of the rolls. This open head feature is exceptionally helpful when running materials with critical finish requirements as users can ensure the rolls are clean and free from debris that might otherwise mark the surface.
To raise the head that contains the top rolls, users simply push a button that activates a hydraulic cylinder. The new Clam Shell Straightener concept is applicable to any size COE straightener.
