City of High Point, N.C. Selects CyberShift's Workforce Management Solution

Complex Scheduling, Around-the-Clock Shifts, City Pay Rules and FLSA Calculations to be Managed by City-Wide Time and Attendance System

PARSIPPANY, N.J., March 13 - CyberShift, a leading provider of global workforce management and expense management software and services, today announced that the City of High Point, North Carolina, has selected CyberShift's Workforce Management 3G suite of products as its new workforce management system.

High Point, North Carolina's International City(TM), is located in the state's Piedmont Triad region. The City provides its 95,000 residents with a wide variety of services such as fire, police, park rangers, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, and sanitation, as well as services typically provided only at a county level, such as 911 responders.

The 1,500 workers employed by the City, including approximately 550 fire and police employees, work around-the-clock shifts, 365 days a year. Many of them are mobile or work in multiple locations. Complex scheduling and disaster recovery requirements, coupled with city payroll rules and the legal obligation to deploy police and fire in a timely manner, necessitated a flexible system to address these demands. CyberShift's Workforce Management 3G solutions more than demonstrated the ability to provide that flexibility.

High Point's ERP Manager Tom Spencer explained, "We were in the process of replacing the City's financial management system, and it became clear that we absolutely needed to implement a time, attendance and workforce solution.
