Citect Launches On-demand Industry Benchmarking Service with Simplot

Simplot Australia adopts Citect's production performance analytics service, Meta
Sydney, Australia - Citect, one of the world's largest, real-time intelligence software companies today announced that Simplot Australia has begun evaluation of Citect's new benchmarking service called Meta. The food manufacturing giant will evaluate the Production Performance Analytics service across five plants to leverage best practices and continuous improvement within the Australian business.
As a secure on-demand service, Meta enables businesses to identify opportunities and improve capital deployment through benchmarking the performance of individual plants amongst each other as well as against global standards. Simplot is reviewing Meta for its enterprise benchmarking initiative because its service offers easy configuration, simple to manage reporting tools and low ownership costs.
