New Hilti WSC 167 Circular Saw Has What You Need To Get The Job Done

TULSA, Okla. - June 20, 2005 - Designed for the work you do everyday, the rugged new Hilti WSC 167 Circular Saw has just what you need to get the job done. With a 15-amp motor, durable construction and the ability to cut angles up to 50 degrees, this is one tool you've gotta have.

Performance & Durability for Everyday Use

For reliable jobsite performance, the WSC 167 features a 15-amp motor for fast, aggressive cutting. An electric blade brake stops the tool quickly when your cut is finished. The WSC 167's cast magnesium construction provides accurate cutting even in tough jobsite conditions and its heavy-duty ball and needle bearing is designed for long life.

Versatility for Everyday Jobs

For increased cutting capability, the WSC 167 will make bevel cuts of up to 50 degrees with a positive stop at 45 degrees. The saw also features a rear dust exhaust and excellent view to your cutting line. Hilti also offers an optional parallel guide (rip fence) for accurate cutting guidance that can be easily repeated. A 15-foot cord allows greater jobsite mobility.

Blades Available for Variety of Tools & Applications

Hilti offers its Kwik-Pro Fused Teeth Carbide Blades, with up to 20 percent longer life, for the WSC 167 as well as a variety of other tools and applications. The blades' C-3 carbide tips are fused to the blade core for the best tooth performance. Fusion eliminates the need for expansion slots, which provides better stability.

Hilti stands behind the WSC 167 with its One Year Full Service Program, which includes shipping, maintenance service, repair and replacement of all worn or defective parts, functional testing and adjustment and safety check after any repair.*

In addition to the WSC 167, Hilti also offers the WSC 267-E Circular Saw, which offers the power of a worm drive in a design more compact than a sidewinder. With the optional guiding rail system, the WSC 267 offers table saw precision with portability that no stationary tool can offer. Equipped with Smart Power(TM) and a two-point cutting angle lock to keep the blade securely in place, the WSC 267-E delivers the power and performance you demand so your cuts are clean and accurate every time.
