Cingular Goes 'Out of the Box' with New Field Service Solutions Suite

Companies with Operations in the Field Now Can Quickly and Easily Deploy Handheld-based Family of Corrigo-Enabled Services to Mobile Workforces

ATLANTA, Nov. 1-- Cingular Wireless today introduced a portfolio of wireless solutions for businesses with field service operations that can be activated directly from a variety of wireless handhelds for quick and easy deployment.

The suite of three field service automation solutions - developed for Cingular by Corrigo, Inc. - are designed to match the level of functionality and support a company requires. The Web-based applications are available directly from and billed by Cingular Wireless. They can be deployed easily via a simple wireless download to Cingular-powered devices that use such platforms as BlackBerry, Pocket PC and Java.

"Cingular's new field service automation solutions provide businesses of all sizes with a cost-effective and compelling, ready-to-use suite of applications they can deploy quickly and easily for a fast return on their investment," said Jeff Bradley, vice president, business data services, for Cingular Wireless. "These complement our comprehensive portfolio of offerings to companies with operations in the field - including push-to-talk, a broad selection of wireless e-mail platforms, location-based services and other vertical solutions - to help them reduce costs while improving the productivity of their employees and enhancing customer satisfaction."

Cingular, a leading provider of wireless data solutions for business, is marketing these solutions to increase the value it can provide to companies with field service workers. Cingular is targeting companies in a broad range of industries, including commercial and residential construction, HVAC, landscaping, facilities and property management, service and equipment repair, education and high-tech. Businesses can choose from:

o Cingular Work Order Manager - an entry level solution designed to
replace a technician's clipboard and paper-based work orders with
electronic forms that are updated in real time on wireless handhelds.
Using GPS technology, including the recently launched TeleNav Navigator
from Cingular, dispatchers can not only find the technician who is
closest to a job location but also the person who has the best skills
to handle that particular job. This provides control over the service
delivery process and improves productivity while reducing or
eliminating paperwork normally done in the field.

o Cingular Service Manager - includes the functionality of Cingular Work
Order Manager plus advanced features to allow companies to automate all
of their mobile service operations from the initial service request
through invoicing, including scheduled and preventative maintenance.
Parts, labor and other costs incurred in the field are effortlessly
transferred into most commonly used accounting and financial packages
for invoicing.

o Cingular Professional Service Manager - an advanced solution that
integrates directly with a customer's billing, contract and inventory
management systems. It offers features such as wireless inventory,
contract, project and document management. Organizations have the
flexibility to customize workflows and integrate with other systems
such as Salesforce.com(TM) to gain maximum competitive advantage.

Cingular Work Order Manager, Cingular Service Manager and Cingular Professional Service Manager are available now for $9.99, $34.99 and $64.99 per month per user, respectively, in addition to voice and data plans. The solutions are being offered through Cingular's B2B direct sales organization.
