Cinch Interconnect Product Reaches Finals of Prestigious 2008 DesignVision Awards

iQ® Hybrid achieves recognition as one of industry's most innovative interconnect technologies

LOMBARD, ILLINOIS - January 16, 2008 - Cinch Connectors today announced that its iQ® Hybrid Interconnect product has been selected as a finalist in the Interconnect Technologies and Components category of the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) 2008 DesignVision Awards.

The purpose of the annual DesignVision Awards is to identify and acknowledge the technologies, products and services that provide the greatest innovation and benefit to the electronics industry. This year, a panel of highly qualified judges made their selections from a record number of competing products in eight categories.

Winners of the 2008 DesignVision Awards will be announced Tuesday, February 5, at noon during DesignCon, due to be held February 4-7 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
