New Low Profile Chip Inductor for High Current Applications
Bradford, PA - April 30, 2004 - KOA Speer Electronics introduces its KQC 0603 Air Core Chip Inductor. Compared with the current KQ 0603 the KQC's DCR is reduced by 40% resulting in a 50% increase in the DC current capability. With a low profile height of 0.027 inches (0.7mm) typical, the KQC is ideal for today's high frequency, low voltage applications.
KOA Speer's Air Core Chip Inductor has a nominal inductance range from 1.2 nH to 27nH with inductance tolerance at ±5%. They feature DC resistance ranges from a maximum of 0.020Q to 0.120Q with an allowable DC current of 1.00A to 2.25A. These inductors feature a black body color with no markings and are suitable for reflow soldering. KQC inductors are available in 4mm pitch embossed plastic with 2,000 pcs per reel.
