Economical Check Valve Features Low Pressure Drop
All plastic, corrosion resistant wafer check valves from Cepex by Hayward provide a cost efficient way to prevent reversal of flow in larger size piping systems. They help prevent damage to pumps, filters or other process equipment caused by backflow of the process media.
Cepex by Hayward Wafer Check Valves have been designed to provide superior flow characteristics. Because of the valve's Straight Through Design they have a lower pressure drop than other check valve designs of the same size. Their compact size also takes up less space in the pipeline than swing check valves or other types of check valves do.
These check valves operate without the need for any adjustments or settings of any kind. Line pressure moves the solid plastic flap off of the elastomer seat to open the valve. When the inlet flow stops, back pressure moves the flap back onto the seat, stopping the flow... a simple, foolproof design.
Because of their all-plastic construction, Cepex by Hayward Wafer Check Valves will never stick, jam or fail as a result of rust or corrosion. And they will not contaminate sensitive fluids that come into contact with them.
