VulcanCraft Performance is a novel chatter prediction and avoidance system providing state of the art tool path and tool selection optimization for both conventional and high speed machining applications. High speed machining operations will benefit from a report of unusually stable special spindle speeds for chatter free machining with as much as ten times higher material removal rate over conventional machining. Many chatter prediction systems are limited to straight line, constant depth tool paths. Both high speed and conventional machining will benefit from VulcanCraft Performance alerting you to chatter conditions for general tool paths and tool/part geometries. The patented VulcanCraft Performance hardware component uses a non-contact electromagnetic device to effortlessly capture the machine and tool dynamics controlling chatter sensitivity, with operation similar to a familiar tool touch off. No special expertise is required. The dynamics data is seamlessly and automatically transferred to a fast chatter analysis software program. Chatter problems and chatter avoidance tooling and tool
path strategies are reported using a familiar solid model NC verification presentation for ease of problem identification and correction.
