Wareham, Mass. – Navionics, the leader in content and location-based services for the recreational boating and outdoor markets, announced today exciting new capabilities for Lowrance, Simrad and B&G branded multifunction displays – Insight Store downloadable charts and Plotter Sync data sharing.
Available as a download from the online Navico Insight Store, boaters will soon have access to global Gold coastal charts and HotMaps Premium lake maps for the US and Canada. Popular with boaters and anglers around the world, Navionics charts contain essential reference detail, including data from public and private sources as well as exclusive Navionics surveys. Available in a choice of extensive regions, Gold charts are packed with interactive display capabilities, port plans, safety depth contours, marine services, and more. HotMaps Premium lake maps deliver detail on 18,000 lakes including over 2,500 high definition lakes with Navionics exclusive one foot contours, underwater structure including road beds, bridges, stumps, culverts and creek channels; and detailed shorelines including boat ramps and docks.
Lowrance, Simrad and B&G users also will soon have access to Navionics Plotter Sync capabilities, the latest innovative enhancement to the Navionics Boating and Marine & Lakes apps for iPhone and iPad. Plotter Sync will allow boaters using Navico GoFree Wireless to share routes, tracks, and waypoints from a mobile device to the chartplotter and vice versa, great for planning at home with your Navionics mobile applications.

Plotter Sync for compatible Lowrance, Simrad and B&G chartplotters will be available this spring. Navionics Boating and Marine & Lakes are available on the iTunes App Store and Google Play for the iPhone, iPad or Android devices.
