CGTech to Present Feed Rate Optimization Methodologies at MMTS
Irvine, California – At the Montreal Manufacturing Technology Show (May 16-18, 2016), CGTech Sales Engineer Serge Viau will be giving a presentation that highlights which feed rate optimization techniques are best suited for different materials or machining processes. MMTS attendees can attend the presentation on Mon, May 16, 2016 (11:00 AM – 11:25 AM).
“Every CAM vendor, machine tool builder, and cutting tool supplier promotes the importance of cutting optimization. But what is really meant by ‘optimization?’” asks Viau. “This presentation intends to decipher the many types of NC program ‘optimization’.”
In booth 532 CGTech will be exhibiting its latest version of VERICUT software. VERICUT is CNC machine simulation, verification and optimization software that enables users to eliminate the process of manually proving-out NC programs.
