The ceramic probe is designed for applications where temperatures exceed 450°F (232°C). Made out of 304SS & ceramic, this probe is mounted remote from the electronics providing maximum protection from the heat. Other probes available for higher temperature applications include the heavy duty probe with a larger diameter active section. The larger diameter accepts various extensions and attachments for special applications.
