A new line of compact, long-life sealless centrifugal pumps that feature a brushless 24-VDC motor and can be located close to the reservoir for a wide range of OEM fluid cooling and recirculation applications is being introduced by Iwaki Walchem Corporation of Holliston, Massachusetts.
Iwaki Walchem RD Series Sealless Centrifugal Pumps provide a constant flow over a wide range of pressures up to 15 psi, depending upon model, feature a brushless 24-VDC motor, and can be located close to the fluid reservoir. Compact, quiet-running, and rated for over 25,000 hours operation, these canned motor pumps directly drive a rotor magnet incorporating an impeller,
and the pump chamber is completely sealed from the exterior by a casing.
Eliminating mechanical seals and the need for replacement parts kits, Iwaki Walchem RD Series Sealless Centrifugal Pumps are offered in four models for flow rates from 1.1 to 5.3 GPM and footprints from only 3" x 4" to 4 1/2" sq. Designed even for nose-up mounting, these maintenance-free pumps are ideal for OEM applications such as fuel cell coolant recirculation, electronics
cooling, cell phone amplifiers, servers, power supply, and laser cooling.
