By combining the efficiency of the TEK backward curved airfoil wheel with high efficiency NEMA frame motors, new standards for air performance and sound levels have been achieved. The remarkable BCA impeller is manufactured of glass-reinforced polyamide, stronger than steel yet less than half its weight. The steel scroll housing has an epoxy coating.
