Model Estarta 305 MV Centerless Grinder
FEATURED AT WESTEC, SOUTH-TEC 2002
PURCHASE, NY--The Model Estarta 305 MV centerless grinding machine has been designed using finite element analysis to assure maximum stiffness and added stability at all stress points for improved high accuracy grinding performance.
The compact Model Estarta 305 MV centerless grinder, on display at Estarta's WESTEC 2002 exhibit, Booth # 3247 South Hall, and SOUTH-TEC exhibit, Booth # 1902 (Jeffreys Manufacturing Solutions), features a fixed grinding wheel head with a moveable regulating wheel slide and workrest slide. This double slide system allows the workpiece to fall between the wheels after the grinding operation, eliminating lengthy unload time and improving process throughput. The cantilever design of the grinding wheel spindle facilitates wheel changes, significantly reducing changeover time. The regulating wheel spindle has a third outboard bearing support that adds stability to the machine.
The Model Estarta 305 MV centerless grinding machine is equipped with a Fanuc CNC control. It can be equipped with automatic load/unload systems and post process gaging systems with compensating feedback capability. The machine is built to handle
workpiece diameters ranging from 1.5 mm (0.060") to 50 mm (2"). Maximum infeed grinding length is 160 mm (6.3").
