Plymouth, WIÂ – Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, announces that it has configured a VERSAFLOW 3/45 selective soldering system with double solder modules and Z variable for Celestica De Monterrey, S.A. De C.V. in Mexico. The VERSAFLOW 3/45 will allow Celestica to run two alloys (tin lead and lead-free) in one machine on-the-fly.
“Celestica was looking for a solder machine that could meet the requirements for leaded and lead-free products with a fast cycle time, and we found that and more in the VERSAFLOW 3/45,” said Jesus Salles, SMT/BE Process Eng, Team Leader at Celestica De Monterrey. ”We are so pleased to have found a machine that meets all of our requirements.”
The VERSAFLOW 3/45 is the industry’s most widely used in-line selective soldering platform. This platform is the most repeatable system on the market with technology highlights such as servo driven gantry systems, expandable modularity, dual solder pots, fiducial recognition, board warapage detection, process camera, auto nozzle cleaning, top- and bottom-side heating and offline programming.
