Cefla North America to Unveil Latest Offerings at AWFS 2019
Charlotte, N.C. July 8, 2019 – Cefla North America, the leading provider of finishing, decoration and digital printing solutions, is excited to announce its participation in the 2019 AWFS Fair as an exhibitor in booth #9247. The AWFS Fair takes place July 17-20, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center and serves as a hub of information gathering and presentation of the latest innovations for the North American woodworking community.
In Cefla’s booth visitors will see a live demonstration of Prima, the first step in automated finishing equipment, integrated with a “pick-and-place” material handling system for doors. Stacked doors are “picked” via robotic arm onto the conveyor, sent through the spray-coating machine for finishing, and with a second robot are lifted from the conveyor to the next production stage. The material handling system, which can be turned on or off, further extends Prima’s adaptiveness in being able to finish various component types such as door jambs. Overall, the system increases automation and production efficiencies as well as offers the ability to better allocate labor resources.
Participate in Cefla’s in-booth “name-drop” contest to give its New Compact Flooring System, which will be on display, a name. The winner will receive credit towards a trip to the world’s premier finishing event, CeflaLive11(October 15-17, 2019 in Imola, Italy). The system’s configuration is a spinoff from Cefla’s original CFS (Compact Flooring System), an all-in-one machine that sands, roll-coats, wipes and cures floor planks up to 12 inches. The new design takes a modular approach, allowing the user to customize the finishing line to their specific application with an increased plank width capability of up to 16 inches.
