Cedar Point Communications, Grupo Hevi Announce Agreement for Cable VoIP Launch in Mexico


DERRY, N.H. and GUADALAJARA, Mexico, June 13 / / - Cedar Point Communications, Inc., the worldwide leader in integrated VoIP switching technologies for the cable and telecommunications industries, and Grupo Hevi, a leading cable system operator in Mexico, today announced that Cedar Point's SAFARI C(Cubed)(TM) Multimedia Switching System has been selected for delivery of telephony services to Grupo Hevi subscribers.

The agreement calls for Cedar Point and Grupo Hevi to work together to deploy VoIP service initially in the Zapopan, Jalisco market. Grupo Hevi will utilize SAFARI C(Cubed) to deploy high-quality, highly-reliable telephony services as part of bundled packages of voice, video and high-speed data services.

TVC, a Cedar Point reseller and support partner for the Latin American and Caribbean markets, assisted Cedar Point in the completion of the agreement.
