Sunrise Telecom® Launches Unique CDMA2000 Test System that Combines Sophisticated Monitoring and Simulation in One Unit

3GMaster(R) and IS-41 and the IOS A1 CDMA2000 Simulators Combine to Deliver High Performance and Comprehensive Customized Mobile Network Testing

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 31 /-- Dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of service in the CDMA mobile telecom industry, Sunrise Telecom(R) Incorporated (Pink Sheets: SRTI.PK), introduced two extremely flexible simulators that for the first time can provide concurrent CDMA2000 simulation and monitoring in one unit. Designed for R&D, manufacturers, and mobile operators, the IS-41 and the IOS A1 CDMA2000 simulators' built-in support and easy-to-use graphical interface help reduce the overall cost required to perform CDMA2000 testing.

These new simulators are easily integrated into Sunrise Telecom's 3GMaster(R), a powerful GSM, GPRS/EDGE, UMTS, IMS, CDMA and NGN signaling and service analyzer. Designed to meet the needs of cellular network operators and wireless equipment manufacturers, the 3GMaster provides testing capabilities for installation and commissioning, network troubleshooting and maintenance, billing verification, and Quality of Service analysis.

"This new test system allows Sunrise Telecom to bring a unique solution to the market that combines existing state-of-the-art CDMA2000 monitoring capabilities together with advanced CDMA2000 simulation features," said Claudio Guerrini, product manager, Sunrise Telecom's Protocol Products Group. "Moreover, these simulators together with the 3GMaster are extremely flexible and easy-to-use, allowing even non-engineers to test CDMA2000 equipment."

The IS-41 and the IOS A1 CDMA2000 simulators provide full control of message building with an easy-to-use graphical customization of the message content and signaling flow, supported by an extensive message and script library. This allows users to create a wide range of messages and signaling scenarios in a fraction of the time required when creating test set-ups manually. In addition, these high-performance test systems allow technicians to simulate multiple mobile subscribers by stressing network nodes.

The IS-41 simulator is ideal for testing IS-41 nodes on different nodes such as HLR, MSC, VLR, Message Center (MC) and Mobile Positioning Center (MPC) as SS7 nodes. The IOS A1 CDMA2000 simulator is designed to test signaling and interoperability between a simulated Base Station System (BSS) and a real Mobile Service Switching Center (MSC).
