Overview
The new ThinkPad® CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo II Ultrabay(TM) Slim Drive (with Flat Bezel) delivers added functionality to your ThinkPad notebook. At 9.5-mm (0.37-in) slim, it slides easily in and out of the redesigned Ultrabay Slim bay found in selected ThinkPad notebooks such as the ThinkPad Z Series.
Multiple media options are now available in one slim drive.
Store substantial amounts of data on a single standard CD-R or CD-RW disc with drive's ability to record on media with up to 700 MB capacity
Read or write data with speedy maximum data transfer rates of:
24x maximum (writing to CD-R media)
24x maximum (writing to CD-RW media)
24x maximum (reading CD-ROM, CD-R media)
24x maximum (reading CD-RW media)
8x maximum (reading DVD media single-layer media)

Drive bezel has been changed to have a better fit with the redesign of the Ultrabay Slim media bay found in selected new ThinkPad systems such as the ThinkPad Z Series
