Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces the new PathWay® Model 7294 16-Channel Cat5 RJ45 A/B Switch with Ethernet and RS232 Remote Control. This network switch allows the sharing of a single port interface device among two others for each of its 16 channels. All sixteen channels of this switch are switched simultaneously via the front panel pushbutton or remotely via RS232 or Ethernet 10/100Base-T LAN access.
This convenient Network Switch features 2 remote control ports, DB9 and RJ45 located on the back of the unit. Users can remotely control switch position, query status or lockout front panel pushbutton via the DB9 remote port using ASCII RS232 Serial Data or through the RJ45 remote port using Telnet Commands or Graphical User Interface.
