Aermec is Extending the FCL Range of Cassette Fancoils
Aermec is extending the FCL range of cassette fan coils, introducing three larger sizes, with 840 mm x 840 mm frame.
The FCL range now covers a cooling capacity range that goes from 1500 W to 11000 Watt and a heating capacity range going from 2380 W to 13000 Watt.
The three larger powers now introduced have just one ventilation unit and will replace the old twin fan models, which are larger and noisier than these units.
The presence of just one fan and the careful study of the aeraulic flows inside the machine, have allowed to obtain significant noise reduction, up to 10 dB (A) with respect to old FCA models with two fans.
Like the smaller sizes, the new sizes have the following features: performance reliability, three-way valve as per standard, practical installation and maintenance and design.
The ventilation unit has 4 speeds, all Eurovent certified.
The addition of the fourth speed, with respect to the three of the previous FCA range, has allowed to obtain a "super minimum" speed which, at normal working conditions, makes the fan coil even more silent.
An important element of the new FCL range is the heat exchange coil, whose double bend section has allowed to increase the useful exchange surface with respect to the circular coil, commonly used in traditional cassette types. The result is greater energy saving with a reduction of the electric input power up of to 40%.
The FCL fan coil can also be inserted into the new variable water flow rate systems, thanks to the possibility of introducing the two-way valve (set-up available on request). The two-way valve is also available for the additional coil if 4-pipe systems are used.
Another interesting feature of the entire FCL range is the motorisations of the air flow louvers in the version with remote control. Easy installation and maintenance is possible thanks to the total accessibility of the hydraulic, aeraulic, electric and electronic parts from the lower part of the machine (it is not necessary to envision a square tile, which can be opened in the suspended-ceiling, at the side of the machine). Regarding this, the bayonet joint electric box makes interventions on this component very easy.
Maximum installation versatility is also obtained thanks to a wide range of accessories:
GLL20: intake and flow grid with manually moveable louvered fins and to be coupled to the wired control
GLL20R: intake and flow grid with manually moveable louvered fins and with remote control
KFL20: flange for flow into adjacent room, up to a maximum of three can be used per appliance
KFLD20: flange and bulkhead for the introduction of external air into the environment
RXLE20: heating electrical resistance to be coupled to the GLL20R grid
VHL20: motorised on-off 3-way valve for heating coil in systems with 4 pipes
VHL22: motorised on-off 2-way valve for heating coil in systems with 4 pipes
SIT3-SIT5: interface boards to make several cassettes function with the same control panel
SW3-SW4: water minimum temperature probe to use with PXAE (SW3) thermostats or grids with remote control (SW4)
SWA: water minimum temperature probe to use with FMT20AW thermostats
PXAE-PXAR: wall-hung thermostats
