RoadWired Introduces Flashfolio(TM) Media Card Organizers

Rochester, NY, March 20, 2003-RoadWired (www.roadwired.com) has introduced a new storage product called FlashFolio(TM), designed to organize and protect the flash media cards used by more and more portable electronic devices. The company, which manufactures a full line of carrying cases and tech-travel accessories, unveiled the FlashFolio, along with a variety of other new products, at the recent Photo Marketing Association (PMA) trade show in Las Vegas.

The FlashFolio is a soft-sided case that opens like a book to reveal eighteen individual storage slots, each sized to accommodate all popular sizes of flash media card, including CompactFlash, Memory Stick, SD and others. There are also two larger compartments with separate zipper closures, designed to hold PC card adapters or other small accessories. Between the two panels is a removable center frame, which holds an indexing card with pre-printed squares corresponding to the storage sections. The index can be used to sort and identify all the contents of the FlashFolio, for easy organization and recognition. According to RoadWired, the product is ideal for digital photographers using and cataloging multiple cards, as well as for a rapidly increasing population of multi-device users, who carry different memory cards for a digital camera, mp3 player, and handheld computer/PDA.

The FlashFolio incorporates RoadWired's exclusive, multi-layer Advanced Protection System construction, found on a variety of other cases in the company's line. The system features a water-resistant outer layer over a combination of padding and rigid insert panels, which provide both structure and protection. The
interior of the case is lined with a patented material called Corrosion Intercept®, developed and licensed by Lucent Technologies Bell Labs. This sophisticated polymer material prevents moisture, airborne pollutants and other environmental elements from reaching the contents of the case. According to the developers of the material, by minimizing tarnishing and corrosion of metal parts-in this case the exposed contacts found
on nearly all memory cards-Corrosion Intercept reduces conductivity loss, which has been shown to affect performance and service life over time.

Other features of the FlashFolio include pen/marker storage loops, full zip-around closure and velcro flap, and a clear I.D. window on the outside spine. The slim, lightweight case is approximately 8 x 10 x ½" overall. FlashFolio is available in Black, Gray, Red or Yellow nylon for a suggested retail price of $29.95, or in black Nappa Leather for $59.95.

RoadWired products are available through photo and electronic retailers, luggage and travel supply catalogs and dealers, and other specialty outlets, all listed on www.roadwired.com.
