Lantech's New Case Erector is Designed to Minimize Your Biggest Problem: Machine Jams

Louisville, KY - Lantech's new C1500 Case Erector is designed to minimize the biggest problem in case erecting...machine jams. Case erector jams can be traced to a variety of sources including defective, or irregular cases; the mechanical process of opening the case and folding the flaps; or even the simple process of transporting the case out of the machine. The C1500 Case Erector addresses these issues with innovative features such as pneumatic pickup and folding frame with two-panel grip, stationary flap folding, and dual belt-driven exit. In addition, the system is backed by a three year, unlimited cycle "Built Tough" warranty.

The unique pneumatic pickup and folding frame allows positive grip of cases at two adjacent panels to easily open even defective or irregular cases. Slotted flap folders fold major panels along entire length for maximum control. All flaps are folded while case is held square in pneumatic grip of pickup and folding frame to reduce likelihood of misfeed and jams. The erected case is then led into the dual belt-driven exit which uses belts on each side of the case to eliminate vertical movement of the case as it is pulled over the tape head or glue station and out of the machine.

Changeovers are easy with hand wheels to precisely adjust for case height, width, and length. The C1500 Case Erector also features easy to read "counters" and a help chart to make case adjustments fast and simple. The case loading magazine is ergonomically designed to allow easy loading of blanks. Clear panels allow a full view of machine operation while safeguarding the operator. The compact system requires little floor space, operates on standard 230V, 15 amp service with 80 psi air connection, and is easy to maintain.
