CAS Medical Systems, Inc. Launches LIFEGARD® Family of Patient Monitors at National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition

BRANFORD, Conn., May 22 / -- CAS Medical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CASM), a medical device company focused on innovative, non-invasive vital signs monitoring, today announced that it will be introducing its line of LIFEGARD Patient Monitors, co-branded with Analogic Corporation, at the National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (NTI) in Atlanta, GA this week. NTI is the premier educational conference for nurses caring for acutely and critically ill patients. In conjunction with the introduction, CASMED is launching its updated corporate website later this week.
Earlier this month, CASMED announced its agreement with Analogic Corporation under which CASMED will act as the exclusive worldwide distributor for the LIFEGARD family of patient monitors. Andrew E. Kersey, President and Chief Executive Officer of CASMED, remarked, "We are pleased to have rapidly put into place the tools and materials needed to launch the LIFEGARD monitors at the NTI. The new site has been streamlined to reflect the CASMED brand identity and latest product introductions, including both the FORE-SIGHT(TM) Absolute Cerebral Oximeter and the LIFEGARD monitors. Complete product listings and support materials, as well as easy access to investor and customer care information, will be available in a user-friendly format.
