CAS DataLoggers To Manufacture Accsense Monitoring and Alarming Systems

Accsense Wireless and Wired Systems for Real-Time Continual Monitoring

CHESTERLAND OH - CAS DataLoggers is pleased to announce it has begun the transition to manufacture its Accsense monitoring and alarming product line in its Chesterland, OH headquarters before the end of the year. Taking over hardware management in addition to the current Rackspace server management and support will augment repair services and firmware updates. With this move, CAS DataLoggers continues its firm commitment to provide customers with low-cost wireless solutions for all their critical applications.

Accsense wireless and wired data loggers continually monitor data in real time using internal and external sensors to measure key parameters such as temperature, humidity, voltage, current, light, vibration and many more. Easy to install and set up, these user-friendly systems are as non-intrusive as possible to customers' existing infrastructures. Using Accsense, customers can monitor and archive readings, view recordings at any time, and automatically send all data to CAS DataLoggers' secure cloud server for storage. Up to 10 designated personnel can sign in to a shared account using a standard web browser to view reports and graphs or instantly modify the system configuration from anywhere an internet connection is available.

These advanced systems also feature sophisticated alarm capabilities, sending email, pager or phone alerts whenever an alarm triggers so that personnel can rely on a phone call no matter when an emergency occurs. Additionally, Accsense helps compliance with demanding industry standards across a wide variety of industries including FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11, JCAHO, AABB, and others. For example, in the healthcare field, patient privacy issues such as HIPAA are often a problem for other wireless systems' lack of security, but Accsense removes this risk with its secure data encryption and storage.

Accsense Product Manager Dana Kennedy explains, "Accsense systems are practically turn-key--there's no software to install and no server to maintain, since its load on a company network is minimal. We store all the data for you, so all you need on your end is an Internet connection! Any transactions made on data transfers within Accsense systems are completely safe, using the same encryption used by major credit card companies: there's no risk in terms of data security."

Accsense is already widely used in life sciences applications including biomedical, drug research, and pharmacies storing vaccines and other supplies. Dana comments, "Many of our customers have a few freezers or fridges they need to monitor, and Accsense is an extremely cost-effective way for them to get into Power Over Ethernet and wireless monitoring at at high level of functionality."
