CHESTERLAND OH - CAS DataLoggers is pleased to announce that we have now moved manufacturing for our Accsense Monitoring and Alarming Systems in-house to offer our customers a wider range of repair services and more frequent firmware updates. Taking over hardware management in addition to the current server management and support deepens our strong commitment to supplying low-cost wired and wireless solutions for your medical, life science, and industrial temperature monitoring applications. As a result our product documentation process has also immediately benefited. Accsense is widely used in healthcare and life science applications including hospitals, pharmacies and bloodbanks to store critical supplies such as vaccines and high-value samples.
Based in Chesterland, OH, CAS DataLoggers is one of the largest data logger distributors in North America. We've provided sophisticated monitoring systems for many healthcare facilities and academic institutions including the Cleveland Clinic, Smithsonian Institute, Stanford University, and Harvard University, among many others.
Our full Accsense inventory has arrived including all parts and housing. As part of the Accsense manufacturing process, we utilize 3 computers for programming manufacturing devices, one specifically for producing our Accsense A2 Ethernet Temperature Datalogger series. Another PC is used to program our wireless A1-B1 series pods and gateways, and a third workstation uses a USB program for manufacturing microprocessors on wireless pods.
Accsense wireless and wired data loggers continually monitor your vital data in real time using internal and external sensors to measure key parameters such as temperature, humidity, voltage, current, light, vibration and many more. Easy to install and set up, these user-friendly systems are designed to be non-intrusive to customers' existing infrastructures. Using Accsense, you can monitor and archive readings, view recordings at any time, and automatically send all data to our secure cloud server for storage. Up to 10 designated personnel can sign in to a shared account using a standard web browser to view reports and graphs or instantly change the system setup from wherever there's an internet connection.
These fridge alarm systems also feature sophisticated warning capabilities to send phone calls, emails and pager alerts whenever an alarm triggers so that personnel can rely on getting a call no matter when an emergency occurs. Additionally, Accsense helps compliance with demanding industry standards across a wide variety of industries including JCAHO, AABB, and others. For example, in the healthcare field, patient privacy issues such as HIPAA are often a problem for other wireless systems and their lack of security, but Accsense entirely removes this risk with its secure data encryption and storage.
Accsense Product Manager Dana Kennedy explains the need for these advanced systems: "Many of our customers want a reliable freezer alarming system or have other medical monitoring needs, and Accsense is an extremely cost-effective way for them to benefit from Power Over Ethernet, wireless monitoring and airtight data security. We store all the data for you, so all you need on your end is an Internet connection! There's no software to install and no server to maintain, since its load on a company network is minimal. Any transactions made on data transfers within Accsense systems are completely safe, using the same encryption used by major credit card companies--there's no risk to your data."
