CHESTERLAND OH - CAS DataLoggers is proud to announce it will be exhibiting at the upcoming Pittcon Conference & Expo 2012, the world's largest annual conference and exposition for laboratory science, from March 11th-15th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. A longtime attendee since 2006, CAS DataLoggers will be setup at the T&D booth #1166 displaying wireless datalogging solutions ideal for life sciences applications including storing and handling tissue samples, temperature/humidity monitoring of vaccines and other extremely sensitive material, and monitoring lab/environmental airspace. These compact, high accuracy recorders monitor many different parameters including temperature, humidity, voltage/current and more, available in wireless, USB and Ethernet models. This year's convention offers attendees a look at the latest life science technology and instrumentation from over 930 exhibitors as well as a diverse technical program featuring more than 2,000 technical presentations and over 90 short courses to enhance visitors' educational experience. Pittcon 2012 also provides attendees with a great opportunity to join networking sessions and exchange innovative ideas with technicians and scientists from all over the world.
When conducting experiments using water baths, spectrometers, and test tubes, technicians need an easy-to-use yet precise recording solution. T&D's compact datalogging products provide cost-effective lab and environmental airspace monitoring protected by a rugged design to withstand accidents and rough handling. Their built-in wireless communication capabilities enable quick and hassle-free data downloads and accessibility without any cables or anyone gathering the units to collect the data, and also offer reliable alarm monitoring via email or SMS messaging. CAS DataLoggers also provides several models of handheld data collectors for convenient data retrieval, for example from probes placed in solutions.
Among their many innovative products available, CAS and T&D will be displaying the TR-72W Ethernet Humidity/Temperature Data Logger which provides effective monitoring of lab airspace environments. The logger's temperature measurements range from 0°-50°C (-40°-110°C with optional temp. only sensor) and humidity measurements range from 10-95% RH. This Internet-ready data logger incorporates a built-in Ethernet/LAN interface allowing for quick and easy collection of recorded data and monitoring of current conditions coupled with warning E-mails sent when values go out of specification. A multifunction display clearly shows current values while the logger's 16,000 point memory enables extended recording. These data loggers can be connected to either a wired or wireless LAN, allowing cost-effective control of temperature and humidity from remote locations, and also include FREE Windows software to setup, monitor, download, graph, and export data.
T&D's USB-type TR7U datalogging series offers more simplified solutions for lab applications, enabling the downloading of recorded data by connecting directly to a PC. These devices monitor several different values including temperature/humidity/pressure/light/CO2 levels. Additionally, by using a TR-57DCi Data Collector equipped with infrared function, the collected data can be easily displayed in graph form without physically gathering the dataloggers, enabling on-the-spot checking of continually-changing data.
Also available at Pittcon 2012, the Log-EZ Wireless Thermo Recorder combines affordability with accessibility in a novel new size to make temperature and humidity monitoring a snap. The Log-EZ is designed as user-friendly thermo recorder to easily measure and record ambient temperature and humidity within ranges of 0°-50° Celsius (32°-122° Fahrenheit) and 15-90% RH respectively. The unit supports wireless communication ranging out to 160 feet when unobstructed, and the range can be extended even further by using the Log-EZ as a Repeater. The Log-EZ can also be configured to automatically download its recorded data to a remotely located PC at a set time of day, and adding to its ease of operation, it's also low-maintenance-utilizing just one AA alkaline battery powers the logger for approximately six months of activation. Logging capacity is maximized to 1,440 readings or about 10 days of readings at 10-minute recording intervals.
