Popular dEX Software Adds Email and Text Messaging Capabilities
CHESTERLAND OH - CAS DataLoggers in partnership with bestselling manufacturer dataTaker are proud to announce the recent release of a substantial firmware upgrade to dataTaker's popular dEX software, which now allows users to send email and text messages. In addition to its graphing and report capabilities, now dEX can send warning messages when parameters suddenly go out of specification, so users get immediate warning to resolve potentially critical events.
The new dEX 9.08 upgrade was inspired directly from both novice and expert users working in a wide variety of applications around the world, applying to the entire range of dataTaker Series 1-3 dataloggers. With the software's new email and text messaging capabilities, users don't have to wait until coming to work next morning to keep tabs on their project-emails and texts now give them the chance to quickly take care of warning-level events.
Additionally, the dEX user interface has been streamlined and made more accessible with this latest upgrade, adding menus displayed clearly in a Windows-Explorer-style interface to the left. This intuitive arrangement makes default settings (including changing temperature from Celcius to Fahrenheit and date and time settings) easy to find with no hunting needed. Email and text sections including "Ethernet email" have also been added. As an added feature, dEX now shows users their last job/configuration on startup, automatically pulled up in a column at left.
