Cartridge Valve handles pressures up to 15,000 psi.

Press Release Summary:

Offering alternative to ball valves, Model EX40 is suitable for hydrogen dispensing as well as controlling flow of high pressure air, water, hydrogen, nitrogen, and other gases or light liquids. Valve has 316 stainless steel body with 3/8 in. Medium Pressure Fitting. Designed with few moving components, Model EX40 requires 50–100 psig minimum pressure differential between inlet and outlet for operation.

Original Press Release:

The EX40 - Clark Cooper's New 15,000 PSI Valve

New EX40 valve handles pressures up to 15,000 PSI!

EX40 Highlights:

•Â Â  Operates at pressures up to 15,000 PSIG (1,030 bar)

•Â Â  Perfect for hydrogen dispensing and refueling systems

•Â Â Â Cartridge style design for easy maintenance

•Â Â Â Cost effective alternative to ball valves

The new reduced port EX40 is a great valve for high pressure applications. There are few valves in the market that can compete with the EX40's combination of flow and pressure. It can handle high pressures typically managed by actuated ball valves, but at a lower price. The EX40 is an effective choice in the emerging Hydrogen Dispensing market, and is also excellent at controlling the flow of high pressure air, water, hydrogen, nitrogen, and other gases or light liquids compatible with materials of construction. The EX40 requires a 50-100 PSIG minimum pressure differential between inlet and outlet for operation. The valve's simple design with few moving components have made it a great choice for inlet pressures as high as 15,000 PSIG (1,030 bar). The EX40 is available in a 3/8" MPF (Medium Pressure Fitting) with a 316 Stainless Steel valve body.
