ERGOtug Puller Cuts Cart Mover's Injuries

CENTERVILLE, MN (March 18, 2004) - Moving fully-loaded pharmacy carts or linen carts is slow, difficult and a constant source of back injuries, muscle strains and employee fatigue. The solution to this problem now comes from Minnesota-based ERGOtech, Inc.

The company is the developer of the ERGOtug Puller, a compact, battery-powered technology that slides under one end of the cart and slightly lifts two of the cart's wheels off the ground. The operator then moves the loaded cart at will using the controls on the handle of the ERGOtug Puller to turn, stop, back up or go forward. The operator moves the cart safely through crowded corridors and maneuvers it precisely into position - with minimum effort and constant control. The puller has a load capacity up to 2,000 pounds and a maximum speed of about 4.5 feet per second.

In addition to the ERGOtug Puller, the company also makes load-moving equipment for use in manufacturing plants, warehouses and similar sites. Their line of ergonomic load handlers has been recognized with the INNOVA Award presented by the Specialty Vehicle association for innovation in the design and manufacture of equipment and components for transport, passenger and other types of special-purpose vehicles.

ERGOtech, located in Centerville, MN, markets its products through a nationwide distributor network. Visit www.ergotug.com, call 651-762-9629 or email rick@ergotug.com
