Interface Concept Introduces a New High Performance VME64x 2eSST Carrier Board for PMC/XMC Modules, Based on the New Tundra Tsi148 VME Interface



Interface Concept, specialist in embedded electronic solutions and manufacturer of COTS electronic boards, announces the availability of a new VME64x 2eSST carrier board for PMC/PrPMC/XMC modules targeted at high-performance communication applications (Datacoms, Telecoms, Networks). Based on a combination of the Tundra TSI 148 VME bridge and the latest generation of Texas Instrument VME transceivers, the IC-PMC-VMEa carrier board allows the switching speed required by 2eSST protocol on the backplane slots. While preserving backward compatibility with existing VME bus system, the IC-PMC-VMEa provides a 320MB/s transfer rate across the VMEbus.

IC-PMC-VMEa is ideal for VME-based Single Board Computer with a PCI/X local bus, the PrPMC slot allows to implement a local processor, the second PMC slot remaining available for expansion.
