Cardinal Health Signs Distribution Agreement with Premier


DUBLIN, Ohio, November 12, 2007- Cardinal Health, a global provider of products and services that improve the safety and productivity of health care, today announced a three-year dual source agreement to provide Presource® IV site management kits to the 1,700 hospitals and more than 48,500 additional health care sites served by Premier, one of the largest group purchasing organizations in the United States.

Under the agreement, which is effective December 1, Cardinal Health will supply Premier customers with Presource® IV site management kits including IV start kits, central line insertion packs and central line dressing change kits. By utilizing standardized configurations of the basic components necessary to perform various IV site management procedures, these kits help health care providers deliver a consistent standard of care to patients.
