Caraustar Grand Rapids Folding Carton Facility Installs Drent Goebel VSOP Web Offset Press

ATLANTA, June 26 / / - Caraustar Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSAR) announces the installation of a Drent Goebel VSOP Web Offset ("VSOP") printing press at its Grand Rapids, MI folding carton plant that is equipped with an ESI EB ink coating curing system and has the capability to print 8 colors plus coating. This technology includes the latest Cerutti/Bernal in-line rotary die cutting and carton delivery system, and should significantly improve overall print capabilities and turnaround times. Start up is scheduled for early August of 2007.
