Automotive Bumper Repair Kit Eliminates Need to Replace Bumpers

A new automotive bumper repair kit that repairs and fabricates tabs and reinforces cracks rather than replacing the entire bumper which saves money for insurers and customers while improving repair center profits is being introduced by Malcom Technologies, Inc. of Tiverton, Rhode Island.

Malcom's Automotive Bumper Repair Kit features a compact 1200 Watt heat gun that provides heat up to 1150°F and 17.5 CFM air flow, a wide slot nozzle, and includes a proprietary mesh, and metal roller. Eliminating the need to replace bumpers previously considered non-repairable, the repair employs the Heat'N Roll(TM) technique which pre-heats the plastic bumper and then rolls the mesh into the softened bumper, encapsulating and reinforcing the bumper.

Allowing a repair shop to repair and fabricate tabs, reinforce cracks and then finish with a two-part epoxy filler, the Heat'N Roll(TM) technique was developed by Carl's Collision Center of Fall River, MA and Collision Quest of Boston, MA. Collision Quest was formed to create a synergy between automotive repair shops, consumers, insurers, manufacturers, and suppliers.

Malcom's Automotive Bumper Repair Kit complete with Heat'N Roll(TM) instructions is priced from $395.00. Pricing is available upon request.
