Capillary Rheometers measure viscosity of molten polymers.

Press Release Summary:

Series LCR7000 employs 32-bit microprocessor, which enables temperature control, digital recognition of sensor, real-time multi-sensor data output, and dynamic speed range of 20,000:1. Used with LAB KARS data processor/software package, LCR7000 units can provide shear rate vs viscosity, shear stress vs viscosity, and thermal degradation vs time. LAB KARS permits detailed analysis for Non-linear curve fitting, Bagley and Rabinowitsch corrections and SQC reporting.

DYNISCO POLYMER TEST Demonstrates the Features of the LCR7000 Series of Capillary Rheometers and LAB KARS Software at Plastec West Pavillion 2003

Morgantown, PA (February 2003) - DYNISCO POLYMER TEST will demonstrate the features of its laboratory bench top LCR7000 Series Capillary Rheometers at the PLASTECH WEST 2003 in Anaheim, CA. The LCR7000 series instruments are ideally suited for studying the viscosity of molten polymers.

The LCR7000 series instruments are designed per the ASTM D3835 test specifications. All of the models employ a 32-bit microprocessor that enables improved temperature control, digital recognition of sensors, real-time multi-sensor data output and a dynamic speed range of 20,000:1 for quick QA/QC testing or detailed rigorous research.

Used with the LAB KARS data processor/software package, the LCR7000 becomes an extremely powerful rheological test and analysis system. Tests including shear rate vs. viscosity, shear
stress vs. viscosity and thermal degradation vs. time are easily performed. LAB KARS permits detailed analysis for Non-linear curve fitting, Bagley and Rabinowitsch corrections and unique
SQC reporting. Generated test data can be quickly and easily downloaded to Microsoft Excel for custom reports.
