Digital Camera-Microscope Adapter
Omex Technologies introduces a new Digital Camera-Microscope Adapter which can greatly improve the inspection and testing capabilities by providing instant digital photos for documentation and reports.
The Digi-Mic Adapter is an easy to use optical component that allows one to conveniently attach any Digital Camera with the lens filter thread to a conventional or a stereo microscope. Just thread the Digi-Mic into a camera lens filter opening and insert the other end of the adapter into the microscope tube in place of the eyepiece.
The main ADVANTAGE of the Digi-Mic Adapter is its INCREASED FIELD OF VIEW (FOV). Thanks to an improved optical design, the adapter's FOV fills the entire camera chip in horizontal direction.
The DMA-1 adapter is designed specifically for the Nikon Cool-Pix cameras with the 28 mm filter thread. The DMA-2 adapter has the 37 mm male lens thread that fits Sony Digital Cameras. It can be attached to other digital cameras by low profile Step Rings (41, 43, 46, 49, 52, 58 mm male threads). The adapter's tube fits standard DIN 23 mm ID microscope tube or can be inserted into a stereo microscope tube using an Adapter Ring.
