CLEVELAND, OH - April 8, 2002 - A new family of Heavy Duty Cam (HDC Series) clamps has been announced by Jergens, Inc. The clamps are specifically engineered for demanding applications such as in machine shops. With their extra heavy steel castings, the clamps are meant to withstand continuous industrial use while providing significant speed benefits over conventional strap clamps in repetitive machining tasks. Many styles are available, including both clockwise and counterclockwise clamping actions, hand or mallet applied actuation, and cam swing or cam ram design.
